Refund Policy
Effective date: 15 September 2026
1. Who this applies to
This Refund Policy applies to tickets purchased through Combat Tix ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Combat Tix Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16222156, VAT number GB496232567), with a registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.
It sits alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
2. The default: tickets are non-refundable
Combat Tix acts as an agent for the promoter running each event. Once you have completed a purchase, the ticket is generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable, save where the promoter offers a refund or where you have a statutory right to one under sections 3–6 below.
This reflects standard practice in the live-events industry: seat inventory is allocated to your order at the point of sale, so a refund typically means the promoter cannot re-sell that ticket in time for the event.
3. If the event is cancelled
If the promoter cancels the event in full, you are entitled to a refund of the ticket face value. Booking fees and any processing fees may or may not be refunded depending on the promoter's decision and payment-processor policy.
We aim to process cancellation refunds within 14 days of the cancellation announcement, back to the original payment method. Payment-processor timelines may add a few additional working days before funds appear in your statement.
4. If the event is materially changed
A material change means a change that a reasonable ticket-holder would consider significantly different from what was advertised at the point of sale. Examples: a new venue in a different city, a new date more than 24 hours from the original, or the removal of a headline fighter from the announced card.
For a material change, you may request a refund of the ticket face value. Requests must be made within 14 days of the change being announced.
A change of scheduling within a few hours of the original start time, a substitution of an undercard fighter, or a change of opening act is not considered a material change and does not trigger a refund right.
5. Your statutory rights (UK Consumer Rights Act 2015)
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or, where applicable, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Digital-content waiver: event tickets are delivered digitally at the point of purchase. By completing your purchase and accepting our terms at checkout, you consent to immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel a consumer contract for services once the ticket is delivered.
6. Duplicate purchases & technical errors
If you were charged twice for the same order due to a technical error on our side, contact us within 14 days of the purchase date and we will refund the duplicate charge. Please include the order numbers of both charges when you contact us.
7. How to request a refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund under sections 3, 4, 5, or 6 above, request it via the Help Centre or by emailing support@combattix.com with the following details:
- Your order number (e.g. ORD-XXXXX)
- The email address you used at checkout
- Which section of this policy you are relying on
- A short description of what happened
We aim to respond within 3 working days. If the refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method.
8. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge directly with your bank rather than following the request process above, we may pause access to your ticket while the dispute is investigated. We reserve the right to provide our records of the transaction and any correspondence to your bank in support of our position.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page and the effective date at the top will be updated. The version applicable to your purchase is the one that was in force at the time you completed checkout.
